Simon Moore Industrial Software specializes in building web-based SCADA interfaces (HMI) for process automation in factories. Our applications run on local edge servers and visualize real-time sensor data and PLC statuses via secure WebSockets.
The core of our approach is independence from the operator's operating system. Whether an operator works from a Windows PC, a Linux workstation, or even a tablet, the interface remains consistent and fully functional. This eliminates compatibility issues and reduces training time.
The application runs on a dedicated edge server within the factory environment. This server communicates via industrial protocols (such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP) with the PLCs and sensors. All data is then streamed to the operator's web browser via a secure WebSocket connection.
Dashboard Philosophy
Our designs follow a clear visual hierarchy: an interface-black as a base, with data-green for critical status indicators and real-time values. This minimizes visual noise and maximizes readability under industrial conditions.
