These terms apply to all web-based SCADA interfaces (HMI) and process automation services, developed by Simon Moore Industrial Software and made available via the domain simonmoorewebdeveloper.com.

The applications run on local edge servers and visualize real-time sensor data and PLC statuses via secure WebSockets. By using these services, you agree to these terms.

2. License and Usage Rights

Simon Moore Industrial Software grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for internal, industrial use within your own factory environment.

  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
  • You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the software to third parties.
  • The license is tied to the specific edge server on which the software is installed.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your own network, servers, and access credentials.
  • Ensuring the proper operation of your PLCs, sensors, and connected industrial hardware.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding industrial automation and data security.
  • Creating regular backups of your configuration and historical data.

4. Limitation of Liability

The software is provided "as is". Simon Moore Industrial Software is not liable for:

  • Direct or indirect damage resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
  • Damage arising from disruptions in real-time data connections (WebSockets) or delays in visualization.
  • Consequences of actions or decisions made based on the data displayed in the interface.
  • Loss of data or production downtime in your factory process.

Our total liability is in any case limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the past year.
